Monitoring Audio on the A7II

How do I monitor audio on the A7II? The only way the audio will output the headphones is when the camera is in video mode, but then it forces me into auto exposure.

I've looked all through the menus and can't find anything that will let me change the auto exposure in video mode.

Any help is appreciated!
 
It's in the menu...I don't remember what it's called, but you change your exposure mode in the menu while you're in the video mode on the dial.

It's by default on 'auto' so that makes sense.

As far as audio out, it will be available in any setting (besides HFR IIRC if it's applicable to the a7II).
 
I just went through the whole menu again...I don't see anything at all that even has to do with exposure. I think I might have to call Sony
