Monitoring a 23.976 project on Avid.

Is it possible to monitor footage from a 23.97 project on Avid through a DV firewire deck without having a mojo? I need to use a production monitor for CC on my film. Thanks.

Yes. It's possible. Are you just asking, or are you trying to and it's not working?

oh thanks... it's not allowing me to set the video monitor out. What am I doing wrong? I've monitored video before... all my connections are good, and my stuff is turned on.

Make sure the Video Quality icon at the bottom of the timeline is set to "green/green" mode. If it's "yellow/green" then you won't get output on a 23.976 project.

Edit to add: The technical term for "green/green" is Best Quality.
