I can't trust what I see on the LCD of my hpx-170 focus wise, and sometimes the zoom in feature isn't enough or isn't good for adjustment while recording. The built in focus peaking type function is a joke IMO. So I'm looking for a reasonably priced monitor with a good focus peaking function. I know there are a few different ways that is approached, preferably I'd like the style found on EX3's. I also shoot with a 7D, so I'd like the monitor to work with both... I don't know if that is all of them, or uncommon...
The size of the screen isn't of great concern to me. Anything will be bigger and better than the LCD and I'll know focus by the peaking.
Thank you!
