GH2 Monitor vs EVF

Hiya folks,
trying to sort out some gear prior to a shoot. I'm going to need either a EVF or a monitor as i'll be doing a bit of rack focussing and other bits and bobs and i was wondering what peoples experiences were with either a evf or a monitor and what the pros and cons are with both ? it'll be hand held 30% and tripod the rest as its fairly formal interviews.

If you do handheld, an EVF is a great third point of contact! It can really stabilise your shot
Also, EVF's have features, which help you make your video better! Focus peaking, Zebras, False Color..

Personal opinion - the GH2 monitor is garbage compared to the EVF and what the camera is capable of. GH3 - upgrade to a higher dot pitch LCD PUHLEASE!

** Looking at the [crappy] HVX200's monitor ** It ain't so bad at all...
