Monitor Special support/mount (forget about noga arms)

Hey again!

I have another question regarding monitor, but now its about the support / mount option! till now i used these so called articulating arms, and if say true i hate it, as u always need both hands to adjust it, u need to stop everything u do if u want to change the angle ...... and if u film something hand held its completely terrible, -

so i searched and found one thing - edelkrone monitor support :
http://www.edelkrone.com/monitor-holder/

it has a friction inside that box - so what happens is u dont need to do much, but just move the monitor with 1 finger and it will stay where u left it, u dont have to tightening it up..... seems like a great idea!
here is a clip where u can see how easy he adjust it :
http://vimeo.com/34562330

so after i seen that one , i kind of would like to ask if you know about any other similar, or different units that could do something like that?
and maybe a comment if some one already tried it.....

regards

Looks good. I wonder if its to short for the AF-100. Looks like it would need to hang lower down in a shoulder mount rig. I wish SmallHD would just make a camera bracket for the EVF that works on the F3 and AF-100 type cameras. Most brackets are for DSLR’s that have the camera in from of you as opposed to on the shoulder. Olof is making a revised version of his to accommodate the AF-100 body so it can tilt like the edelkrone does. I should have it soon and will post how it works.

Small HD are reselling Edelkrone gear in the US - not cheap but they look pretty good, plus I assume it means you'll get the legendary Small HD customer service.

This is the one I have.

They are making a revised version so it will clear the body of the AF-100 so it can tilt up.

The Edelkrone looks good and reasonably priced. Much better than a noga.

The only other similar unit I've seen is on the Letus MCS series- really nice, though much pricier and looks like you have to buy into other parts of their system
