MONITOR SHADE for Sony PMW-EX1 ??????

[George D.]

I'm looking for a shade to go over the 4"w x 2.5"h monitor on my Sony PMW-EX1. There is a real problem with sun glare when working outside.

Does anyone know where I can buy one that fits? Name, brand, and company would be nice.

Most of the ones I've found or used are just not the right size.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hoodman makes a variety of shades for camera LCD panels...

This is what I use with my EX1 http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/petrol_pa1009

It folds up flat so it's easily stowed away in your bag and I'd say I use it every single time I shoot outdoors.

I think I have the Hoodman. However, I am looking for something like the EX3 except it's a clip on cover.
