Can anyone reccomend the best card to get a monitor out with HD? I don't have the mojo and want to get a high quality monitor out to an ntsc monitor.

Any firewire DV decoder such as the camera or a DV deck will do it.

Can you get a monitor out with XPress Pro HD in a 23.97 project? I can't seem to get that to work.

It only seems to work when I capture, but when I play something on the timeline I can't get it to show up on my monitor.

Make sure the timeline is in green/green mode and that "1394" or firewire is selected as output under the special menu. There was a bug if you broght over your old settings this would not work. Try new user settings as well.
