Monitor/Digital Recorder!

[Rogue Crew]

Has anyone seen this or know anything about it?

Has somebody else thought of this too? It makes perfect sense and might save some $$ over purchasing each separately.

If this is old news and has been discussed into oblivion - sorry.

Re: Monitor/Digital Recorder!

Interesting idea. Too bad it only records analogue signals. Also, as it doesn't record using a DV codec (site states it uses a wavelet-based codec), it wouldn't be suitable for tapeless recording.

I suppose it could be useful for fast(er) on-set reviewing of footage tho.
