Money

Very Cool. I am huge Pink Floyd fan. Saw their concert back in 94 when they toured US for the last time since the have been waiting for them to do another concert. of course they briefly came together including waters for the Live8 last year but that was in London and i was in Phily so i saw them on a giant screen!

Interesting to see waters talking about being a socialist !

Very cool stuff

Cheers,

I would've loved to have seen them in concert. They are definitely Top 10 in my list of favorite rock bands. Do I smell a new Callaghan thread?

Love 'em. Never seen them live, though. Of course.
I have a friend who saw "The Wall" live, and saw a laser light show of the whole "Dark Side.." album as well.

That was very cool. Money has go to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time. i never knew waters was a socialist. What kind of socialist makes money off their music?

I believe they dont really care about the money. I heard a radio interview of gilmore and mason and the interviewer asked so how do you split the profits (with waters) and they go oh we split everything even there is no issues there. It gave the impression that neither waters nor the rest of the band care too much about the money.

But I guess when you pull in over 100 mil( thats what they made in the 94 concert tour) money dosent really matter!

btw, they used gold lasers for the first time in that concert. Gold laser can split an Atom !

It was just awesome. If you have never seen a floyd concert live atleast rent a DVD. Its totally worth it. There encore song which they normally the close the concert with "Run Like Hell" ends with the entire stage literally exploding !!

it just looks way too awesome to describe in words.

Why go through all the trouble of making the jerry rigged loop to keep the beat? Terry's cowbell avatar woulda done the job perfectly well.

Kidding of course...that was brilliant stuff.

Comfortably numb is IMHO....One of the finest songs in the known universe!

I think I could have taken a couple more hours of that clip though...Love that stuff!

Thanks, t-man. Just spent the last hour or more watching Pink Floyd clips on YouTube. Great stuff. Dark Side of the Moon was my first exposure to good music. That and Zepplin. :)
