Up for sale a nice Moller Anamorphic - Cinemascope 32/2x Vidoscope lens. Made in Germany.
Very good condition, clear glass, some cleaning marks on both external elements with no effect on image quality, focus ring a bit firm (as with all these lenses) but absolutely useable.
Comes with a 40.5 to 37mm step down ring which is glued on the rear end of the lens, so basically has a useable 37mm rear thread.
You could mount this on your taking lens either by using a step down ring from the filter thread dimension of your taking lens to 37mm (i.e. 52mm to 37mm, or 55mm to 37mm etc.), or by purchasing a dedicated anamorphic clamp from redstan.com (not included in the sale), the one for the Sankor 16F would do the job. This lens requires to focus both your taking lens and your anamorphic.
Epic 3.56:1 anamorphic ratio, great flares, sharp.
If you desire to focus closer than the 5ft minimum focusing distance for close ups, you should use diopters. I suggest that you get a couple of +0.5 diopters that you can stack to go progressively from 3ft to infinity by using two of them stacked, only one, or none. To mount the diopters you should use some sort of clamp like the front filter clamp from redstan.com (the large one).
Price for the lens: 375 Eur shipped to worldwide
I also have +0.5 diopters, so contact me before paying if you need to purchase any.
