Folks...Have a client who used to have a still photo studio many years ago..During a shoot he casually mentioned that his partner had many many lights that were brown and Fresnels..I strongly suspect that they are Moles. He said his partner always kept everything in plastic bags and the stuff was immaculate. This could be the barn-find of the century or it could be junk. I am looking at the lights and "heavy duty" stands in a couple of weeks. If they are what I suspect are Mole 2K lights and heavy stands, I may keep a couple for myself and sell off the rest if the price is right.

Anything I should look for other than plugging them in and trying them out? Is there a market here for Moles? or would I ebay them?

Cracked wiring, corroded or burnt connections inside?
Other than that, anything bent or broken?
As far as where to sell, you will never get any help out of ebay but you always get tons of help here so why not give dvxusers a chance on a good deal first? I can't see myself needing a 2k but I'll bet you a new bulb somebody here does.
 
look at the wiring and switches. Look inside the light to see if the wire are not burnt and that the heat guards are not burned. Re-wiring is not a very difficult to do and can be done for around 30$ a light.
