Mojo isn't working...

I shoot video for the military. My workstation is a DELL Precision 650. It is a monster. It has dual 3.06 intel cpu's, 3.5gb of memory, but Only a 64mb quattro video card, and 4 SCSI hard drives. BUT the computer runs like a snail. My main concern is, is that we have the Mojo but when I plug the Panasonic deck to it, AVID won't capture or even "see" the deck. I have 2 questions. Does anybody have any idea what I need to do to fix that problem? Also, is there any benefit to using the Mojo by itself? I mean the deck would connected straight to the computer. Nothing would be connected to or from the Mojo.

Does it see the deck without being pluged into mojo?

Have you tried to set it up in deck configuration?

the deck works without the Mojo.

Is there a setting in deck configeration you have to set when using the Mojo with a deck???
