I got the PSD NG warning yesterday for the first time on my 100. After I got it back home the indicator was not lit but there was mechanical "grinding" type noise coming from the lens area and the image was vibrating in the vf.
Fortunately, after "resting" overnight, the camera seems to be ok - no PSD NG, no noise. no jumping image.
I had the camera out in the cool air but not any moisture present, in fact it was low humidity. A couple of days earlier though I was shooting in about 50 degrees with light mist / sprinkles. I didn't feel the DVX was in any extreme weather conditions at all.
In searching the bb, I see that moisture is a common factor with this warning indicator
My question is, is the DVX possibly SO sensitive to any moisture that the one brief period of exposure to the very light mist could have been enough to trigger this?
