Mogul Base LED Corn Light Bulbs for Soft Box/ China Ball?

Does anybody have experience with any of the LED "Corn Light Bulbs"? Are there any that would work for video lighting? In general, it appears that the CRI and fan and dimming are going to be considerations, but it would be nice as a replacement for daylight CFL bulbs when needed.

The best mogul solution I've found (for getting daylight out of a Photoflex Starlite setup w/ softbox) was the 400-watt mogul-based grow/aquarium bulbs with an external ballast, which didn't need a fan. The "5500k" bulb i found needed 1/2 minus green. It was actually warmer than 5500k and needed 1/2 CTB or so, but could be used without the CTB depending on your other lighting. Equivalent to about 1200 watts of tungsten.

That was my main interview light for a year or so, with a medium silverdome. But it was as hot as any 400 tungsten and cold restart, finally dumped it for an LED panel. Actually gained a half stop or so with the LED in the same softboxes.
