Mods: How about updating or changing this to 2014 NAB?

[powervideo]

Just wondering if this forum should be updated to 2014 NAB? I'm booking flights/hotels/workshops and it would be great to get other views and news about the upcoming show (which is only nine weeks away).

Any one have a code for a free pass?

[Nick Royer]

Edelkrone has free exhibit passes available right now. I'm sure many others do as well.

Thanks for posting the Edelkrone pass Nick.

Anyone know if there is any benefit to the vendor for using their code? I just wonder if you use a code from Vinten instead of Edelkrone... does NAB give the vendor who brought the most people in a bottle of campaign?

PS Mods, why isn't this 2014 yet? Does someone turn 30 in 2014, so every year it'll always be NAB 2013 from now on?

But now we lost that helpful thread with all the hotel/trip reviews & tips. I guess it got archived with 2013?

[Jason Ramsey]

yes. But, I can move any threads that you like.

The sub-forum is here:

If you can post links to threads that you think would be useful (and not containing outdated registration codes, etc) I will make sure I move them over here for you.

Thanks.

I found it....(sorry, bear with me, my original post was from a smart phone)

Maybe move that thread from filmguy123 that is in 'industry news'? Just a thought since it is useful & relevant to the show.

Behold!

Yay! '14

Now we'll just see if I can make it out this year. If not I'll be addicted to this sub for a week in April.

To my knowledge it doesn't matter. I just think they are limited on how many can register under each code. side note: I recall only one time one vendor had reached that limit.
Free Exhibit only Pass Code "PA02" is found in videomaker magazine on the NAB ad page. (don't type in the quotes when using the code just PA02)

another free exhibit pass code: LV3365
