Modo35. Anyone?

Who knows anything about Modo35? Why is it so inexpensive? Images are pretty nice.
It does look promising but unless I get some reviews on it I wouldn't get it personally. I'll just keep saving for my SGblade.
But, if I was desperate for some shallow DoF, I would try it out, like i said it does look pretty promising.
Please keep this thread updated if you find any new information on it. :)

Cool Find, It looks like a car part or a canteen lol , however with that said ,It's made in Italy.
Have to check into more and get back , u never know.
Cheers

Has anyone had any experience with it now? Last post was from june. I just now found this adapter online and went right to a dvxuser search!

Anyone?

I ran across this adapter a while back myself. I am also very curious about this adapter. I am not an adapter expert by any stretch, but the sample video looks stunning. The focus is perfect, sharp as can be. Nothing soft about this at all. Is this a great find or to good to be true?

I just ordered mine...
I'll try to make a proper review for this adaptor since I can't find any arround the net...
I'll use it with Canon Xh-A1 and will post footage

Wow, I'm happy I came accross this thread. The video footage looks great on the site. I too have a canon xh-a1 and am trying to make a smart purchase on my first dot adapter. If anyone has used this please chime in. The build looks great. It looks solid and it seems that it doesn't flip. Am I correct?

Thanx chris

George , what mount did you order yours with and why? 20 days is a long wait from them. It does look like a great unit. are you going to use an external monitor to correct the image?

Thanks,
Chris

I received this Monday an order process email from Andriano (the guy who makes them) and said that he sent it to me.
So in about 4-7 days I'll have it :-)
I ordered a 72mm thread mount but first I emailed to Andriano and told him that I will use it with the Xh-A1 in case he needed to know the exact model of the cam.
I also ordered both the nikon f, and the canon eos mount since I have both types of lenses for the 5dmk2.
I am planning to use it with a liliput 7" monitor from ebay with component input.

I'll try to post some videos and a proper review since everyone (myself included) wants to know about it...

Sweet George!! Im excited to hear this info. Can't wait to see your footage.

Still waiting... and getting impatient!!!
I have a nikorr 55mm f1.2 waiting for some action!!!

i hear ya buddy, did you order it from their website or on ebay? The modo35 seller on ebay has 10 listed as 500 or best offer.

Thanks,
Chris

I ordered it from their website and the total cost was 528$ (because I ordered both nikon F and canon EOS mount, shipping to Greece included).
I'm pretty confident that I will have it by tomorrow or at least the day after since the package is in my country a few days now!!

Oh, my god!!!! They send me the wrong camera mount!!!!
Now I'm gonna have to wait another century!!!!!!!!!!
Big disappointment :-(

It's a very well built unit tough!

Ok, I 've been playing with various lenses w/o the camera just my eye and the image is surprisingly crystal clear!!!
It has noticeable light loss though but I was expecting that...

Ok, I've sent an email to Andriano from modo35.com and the guy answered immediately and he is sending me right now a replacement step down ring!!
Very responsible from his side!!!
So, I'll wait a little longer...
