Modified Zoom Controller with Rocker!

Thanks to Jared and his controller plans I was able to convince a engineer friend to help me use a rocker from an old tv camera with a 7.5 pot and some modifications for my very own (under $10) Zoom controller with variable speed and start and stop. This is way cool DIY stuff. Thanks for the inspiration guys!

Thanks to you and Screeching halt for pointing the way.

Yes, I am going to mount it unto a crane that I am in the process of building. A friend of mine bought some plans from Dan over at dvcamerarigs.com and we have been striving to get the money shots without the spending the big money. :) Now I am looking for a inexpensive or DIY pan and tilt for my crane. Any leads?
