Modern Man

Okay....interesting....now what is it about? Is it a short? I think the sky is too blown out.

good luck
g.

Abstract is right.. Mommy allways said "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say ..anything at all.."..

anything at all...

Abstract art and now abstract film... Man, I'm always positive about things on here.. but I HATE abstract art. What's the point? Why be so portentous and all that. Give me something I can use and utilitatian...

Films should be life with all the dull boring parts cut out ... and abstract art and expressionistic art should be on ya wall and not on ya TV... WOOZERS...

i have no problem with abstract film. but i do have a problem with abstract film that has to tell you its abstract. if that makes any sense.

anyways the shots looked good. sky was a little blown out as was said above. other than that the trailer did not entice me to want to view this film. it was absolutely a trailer. and not a teaser.

.....I'm confused.... It doesn't seem to be portending anything......:huh::huh:... except maybe a follow up piece to help explain it all.

Tim... that looks like a really long other thread.. what was that about.? Sorry if my comments are too blunt, but this kind of stuff just screems to be spoofed...

Y'know, I don't claim to understand the trailer, but I did like it...don't have a specific reason, but the images and music went together well and it made me want to see the whole thing...if only to find out what this guy was doing with the ladder...

Good luck with it...

I'm feeling discombobulation mixed with pathos, with a sickened pinch of sweaty lust. The color scheme has perhaps too much ultraviolent.

I would intercut the footage with the credits and music, go between the two. It might make it more interesting.

.....I don't mind spoofing. In fact I was kinda spoofing you. I think you meant pretentious.....not portentous...:) if I'm wrong, then spoof away As for that thread? I spent a LOOOOONG time reading it last night. Buncha guys with their fingers in their belly buttons (some big ole' bellies at that) wondering about the meaning of life......oh wait......the meaning of art. But, it might as well be life, ya know? There were a few good points that were made but in the end, it boils down to whether you like carrots or not. Some of you just like carrots. Some of you can tell us WHY you like carrots...and make them sound very tasty. Some of you DON'T like carrots and could make the case that they are just plain vile and will eventually do you harm. Some of you have NEVER HAD carrots........ Me?..... I like carrots.....although I have NO IDEA why.....:):):):):)

Nope. I was right when I said portentous.... I like it more then pretentious... it less trite and commercial and not used as much... and has a stronger meaning... and also people correct you all the time over it to sound superior.. lol. Got to love that liberal arts education.. but I still suck as spelling! So now it's time to spoof me again.. when you spoofed the spoof and wrongly spoofed..
