Mocumentary Re-post

well, it's kind of hard to critique something like this on purely technical terms, because it would classify as 'experimental', and so I'm not sure if some of the things I may critique were intentional or not.
but, here goes-
the lighting is blown out in the beginning, probably because of all the white walls behind the subject. I'd experiment with lighting to make the walls a lot darker, and more attention drawn to the subject. Overall, the lighting is pretty flat and overlit, could do with some more experimentation to get interesting light.
the cutting and shots were ok but again, too experimental to compare it to 'proper' filmmaking. I wouldn't have gone with some of the jump cuts and ECU's.
It also runs too long- it strikes me as the kind of thing that would be fun to make, and the makers would watch the whole thing because it's hilarious to them, but anyone else who is not in on the inside joke would not watch the whole thing. It may help to tighten up the editing in the 'doc' section. you said yourself that making it longer than the short was another gag, but unfortunately a lot of people have no patience for a gag that requires that much of their time.

i'm not trying to slam it, because the concept was cool, but then again I like weird sh1t that a lot of people don't. I'd like to see more of your stuff.
