mmmm night time skating

are you in north carolina? haha.

the low light capabilities are awesome when it comes to skateboarding, usually we only get to go at night when everyone is off work and all the businesses are closed.

haha no I'm from good ol' boring pennsylvania. Luckily i had saturday off and had some time before the misses and i went out.

We also got some shots in a building that was hard enough to skate in let alone film and it was amazing that i could see everything perfect with NO LIGHTING! I had both clips on -12db and the grain is nearly unnoticeable! If this camera had and anti-condensation button, i'd hit it =X

nice. don't you **** your pants a little when skating with the HMC to film lines? I have taken some ridiculous spills while protecting my vx, i can only imagine what i'll do with the HMC hahah

if you're careful, not really, i admit i've taken some falls before (not with my hmc) and i get a little paranoid, but it happens, and when you're gettin payed, you gotta do what you gotta do

eww, fisheye. the perfectly good way to ruin a perfectly good 4,000 dollar camera
that would be true if it were overused, but HD fisheye can look very nice.

okay okay, 3200 dollar camera. i'm down with fisheye shots, but i don't see myself buying one for my hmc any time soon.

i think it looks nice on the hmc, until (if at all) century comes out with an x-treme fisheye for the hmc, this is what i'll use. I admit you can get 20395823x more creative shooting long lens, but sometimes you need a fisheye (especially working with impatient skaters haha)
