MJPG Footage Times Out

I am new to my GH1 and appreciative of the GH13 results - working well.

When I record MJPG the footage times out and stops recording at 5 mins (a counter times down when recording so I know it isn't the card unable to write fast enough).

Is there a setting I need to configure to set the recording length of MJPG? The AVCHD records for the length of space available on my SDHC card.

When I record MJPG the footage times out and stops recording at 5 mins

mjpeg allows you to shoot only up to 4gigs continuously. Before hack you could record about 8 minutes HD after hack is less. It is due to the FAT32 limit used by the memory cards. When it reaches the 4gig maximum the camera stops recording automatically.

Right -- in other words, this isn't a bug or a problem, it's an inherent limitation of using the MJPG recording mode. If you need unlimited recording times, use the AVCHD mode.
