MJPEG VS. AVCHD ......What to choose?

I have read through a lot of threads on this forum. And the more I`ve read, the more I`ve gotten confused. I got a GH13 since a couple of weeks, and I have shot with 50 mbps AVCHD and the Black-Powell Native 24p patch (MJPEG). Now I`m unsure which one I like better.
I`d be pleased to hear your opinions. Which codec is better, and/or for what purpose?
Thanks for your answers :)

I know its hard to compare the two because of different subjects, lighting, etc, but i thought it would be better than nothing...

well, avchd has more detail in it because of its higher resolution.

BUT avchd has also a variable bitrate, which means when you are shooting low detailed, low contrast scenes the camera turns the bitrate down and the image quality gets worse. you get things like color banding.

And this is where mjpeg shows his power. it has a (almost) fixed bitrate and produces so better images in lowlight scenes.

Just read on the forum for further details, there are tons of threads about this.
