MJPEG, 24/25P and 1080p OPTIONS

Why oh why cant the output be mjpg 1080p and 24/25p and 720p/30/50/60 selectable, all the issues with the codec would go away? OK the file sizes may be an issue but at least we'd be allowed a little more lattitude with movement!
 
Not sure how to answer that...but the thing is - Thems the breaks - AND this has been discussed exhaustively perhaps in other areas. It sucks but we need to work around it and for 120,000 yen with kit lens, I'm sure I can make do...in fact I AM making do.
