Hi folks!
First I have to say I'm kind of new to the whole HD thing. Yes I know I'm late
I read a lot that people mix the two resolutions for their movies. Mostly because in some situations it's "safer" to shoot in 720p or because they need to do slowmo stuff.
What I always wonder is do people just scale up the 720p footage in AE or FCP for their 1080 movies??? I mean wouldn't that destroy the nice picture at all?
Or is it always the other way around? That when you mix both resolutions you have to go the 720 way? Thanks for clearing things up!
