I'm going to make a dvd of a musical in April. I'm am going to use my DVX100AE (pal) and my old consumer camera Canon Mv750i, a camera which doesn't the ability to shoot progressive. Mixing interlaced and progressive like that, would that be a problem?

If better, I also have an old Hi-8 camcorder I could use.

Currently I'm working on a project in Liquid 6.1 with digital8 footage and DVX progressive mixed up in one timeline and have not encountered any problems yet. Should be alright I guess :)

I am working with Liquid Pro 6.1. I had only a few tiny glitches when using transitions between progressive and interlaced footage. It was easy to fix by changing the FX settings of the transitions, CC etc. from "Render Fields" to "Render Frames" and vice versa.
