mixing hvx200 & hmc150 footage ?

I'm pretty new at all this.

I'm using FCP. Can I import footage from HVX200 & HMC150 for the same project? Will it match up, assuming I'm using the same settings on the camera?

Help a newbie out! Thanks!
 
Yes. You can use multiple formats within one timeline in FCP. As an example, you can use an HD clip and an SD clip side-by-side in the same timeline. If you are new to FCP, you should definitely consider subscribing to lynda.com for a month or two ($25/month). There are some pretty good courses that'll teach you the basics like this.
