Mixing hmc151 1080 25p with gh2 1080 24p ?

Hi
How would mixing hmc 151 1080 25p with gh2 24p on a 25p timeline In premiere Pro cs5 go on - if at All possible? Wich issues would there be and what should be done before and/or after? The end project would be both 1080 hd youtube and DVD and if possible blueray In PAL....

You can do it, but it may not look perfect... Think the only issue is sometimes there is a little de-sync with audio because of the different frame rates on a different timeline. So if you have dialog I would shoot it with whatever framerate will be the same as your timeline. Dont quote me though :P
 
Are they being used to shoot the same scene in sync? If so, you have problems (they can be overcome but not without some loss of quality). If they are different scenes then can you simply conform the 24p to 25p without too many audio pitch shift issues?

PAL Blu-ray players can play 24p and 25p, you just need to decide which you want.

If you want to turn 24p in to 25p but run at the same speed, something has to generate interpolated frames, and that always looks less than satisfactory. It's the one reason I haven't even considered the GH2. Panasonic really screwed up here.

Panasonic did screw up with not giving gh2 25p. Guess i will go for canon or wait till I Can afford the af100. Would have loved using the gh2 though. And for the price a bargain. Bad luck.....
