Mixing GH1 with hmc151

How well does this work guys?

Im struggling to resist the bokeh and big sensor look of the gh1, and besides...everyone needs a 'B' camera right :laugh:?


How well do they mix on a timeline? I tend to shoot in 720p 25p... Obviously the gh1 dosn't do that...
 
I'm struggling with getting the right setting to mix shots from the two cameras to begin with. I think i've seen FCP requesting to conform the clip to the timeline before placing it.

There's a little processing to do with both, but they mix very well together- however, you might benefit from doing some testing and matching a custom HMC scene file to the GH1 as there is more latitude for change in the 151 than the GH1.

What's your NLE?
 
Why shoot at 720/25 and not 720/50p ? I've shot both cameras at 720/50p and the only real problem I had was caused by white balance on the GH1 being a little too far off for me to be happy with (so, human error on the day). Other than that they mixed ok in the edit provided the GH1 was stopped down a little.
