mixing footage shot in 24p and in 60i

I am shooting a music video with a Sony 2000 and a DVX 100. Apparently the 30p mode on the Sony 2000 is useless except for stills. So can I shoot 60i with the Sony and 24p with the DVX and have it look okay when edited together?

Yeah, it'll should be fine
but it might look strange switching back & fourth between 60i & 24p when
your watching

You can always use both cmeras & shoot 60i if you want.

Shoot 24p standard and edit as 60i.

Or, shoot 24pA, convert the 60i stuff to 24p, and edit as 24p.

If done correctly, you could make a mix of both framerates work well, but i would think about what to shoot interlaced and progressive, definitely don't just do it randomly.
