Quick question. Finishing a Hockey documentary for ESPN. DVX footage stellar...canon zr-65 (little shitbox) used on ice for the dangerous stuff. Do I need to do anything else to either footage to prepare it for broadcast? Color correction done, broadcast safe filters on...interlace??? Thanks.

Hey hey hey!

I have a zr-60, they can be made to look half way decent...

before and after grabs - you can make it look half decent if you try

EDIT : If mixing with DVX make sure to de-interlace and turn into progressive (with a hit of half vertical resolution though)

thanks...I shot f5 on the DVX. If both the zr65 and DVZX are going on a 29.97 timeline do I need to de-interlace for output?

well if you shot 30p on the DVX (that is F5 right?) then de interlace the 60i to 30p - if you are using vegas there is a whitepaper on this in the vegas forums
