mixing DVX and XL2 together for a documentary

hello everyone, this is not a DVX vs XL2 post, but a question about mixing the footage together. This past weekend i just started shooting a documentary on a DVX100a (one of the first times I have used the camera and the footage really blew me away, it looked great). Our original plan was to get another camera if our budget allowed it, which it does. At first we decided on the DVX but when the XL2 came out that became our choice. So we are going to be shooting footage on both camera ( i think this is going to work out really really well, got the XL2 for those long shots, DVX for the wide shots, etc). My only concern is mixing the footage together, like if we were filming an interview with two cameras.(not so much scene to scene) So far i have been shooting on f5, and want to match the canon close to that.

so my question is from what you have seen so far, cutting between a DVX and Xl2 for a documentary, do you think it will work out pretty good? What problems should i worry about? If we are going to run shotgun mics, which camera would be better to run mics too? Etc? any info to help things go smoother would be great. thanks.

i recently shot a show using a xl2 while my partner used a dvx... we shot in 4:3 and 24p... you can definately use both... it is definately comparable...
