Mixing different recording settings on one P2 card

Basic question: Is it true that when I'm recording on a P2 card, I can switch to any possible recording setting whenever I want and it will all work fine: 720p 24, 720pn 60, 1080i, etc.? IOW, every setting can be selected alongside any other, and each clip will be recognized correctly. True or false?

Yes you can freely intermix any type of recordings on a single card.

You can't change formats within a recording though; so, if you start a clip in 720p mode, you can't change modes until you stop recording. But the very next clip you record can be in a different mode.
