mixing cameras

me and my friend will start a snowboard poject next winter.

he`s got the canon xh a1 camera

what do you people think about mixin a1 footage and dvx100 (first edition) footage ?

a1 got 25f , dvx got 25p, a1 got hd and widescreen , dvx don`t.

is it mission impossible?

give me advice.

The closer shot on this video is the DVX100B . The wide shot is the XHA1 . Probably not the best example video but I shot in HD when I used the XHA1 and the dvx100b of course isn't hd , so we just downscaled the XHA1's video. Mainly what's good is the detail HD can get , so whenever you have an HD type of camera I'd recommend that you still shoot in HD and downscale afterwards .

If you are wanting to shoot widescreen on the dvx100b , just use squeeze or whatever it's called on that model .
 
Okay that looked good. i got the first model of dvx100 so i cant do squeese mode , just letterbox... i think.. thanx for answering
