Mixing and matching 5d and GH1 footage

Anyone have experience doing this? I've yet to hack my gh1, but I have some handheld scenes I'm worried about shooting on the 5D due to the shallow depth of field, and I was wondering if anyone had experience cutting the two cameras together. Seems doable to me.

Yaaay! Another thread where I can link my video!

Gh1 stuff in here is 720p, pre hack, converted to 24p, and 5D stuff is pre 24p so was overcranked in post. There are a few specific shots where they intercut quite nicely on the same subject, and all and all the video has pretty much the same feel...except for a couple of the early HVX shots you probably wouldn't be able to tell what was what...especially with new GH1 firmware and had it been shot 1080 (shot 720 to avoid codec issues and because I knew I wanted to overcrank a few things...ended up doing like 1 shot though.) Only spent like an hour color grading to get them to match up, and we didn't do much in camera on set trying to get them as flat as possible or as close as possible...just kinda shot on whatever we happened to be set to.

what kind of correction do you apply to the canon in order to match up? I'm having a hard time matching 60d and GH13 footage

This is one reason I decided to settle on a single manufacturer. As I recall I had to move reds and greens within the colour spectrum (using Colorista II), it wasn't just gamma or simple colour corrections. Canon and Panasonic just record different shades for the same colours within the same scenes so filming different scenes is fine, but matching cuts from multiple angles of the same scene is more problematic.
