Mixing Anamorphic and Squeeze?

So I'm gonna be shooting with my own DVX-100 and a friend's DVX-100A. I have an anamorphic lens for mine, he does not. How well would shooting anamorphic with mine and his in squeeze mode look together? Would I notice much difference between the two? I'm thinking of just going fullscreen if it will cause problems.
