mixing 5D/7D and AF100

Hi everyone,

We just picked up an AF100 with the box lens and have a big shoot coming up next week. We'll be going handheld with a 5DMKII (24-70mm) and a 7D (24-105mm). We'll have the AF100 locked down as a wide shot and audio recorder.

We have a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon 24mm. The AF100 has a mechanical EOS adapter.

Does anyone have experience setting the AF100 to match the Canons? (Indoor kitchen shoot with Kino/Arri lighting.) Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I use the F3 - spark preset on the pani with the detail dialed down (not sure how far). I find that if I shoot the 5D using neutral and contrast backed off it matches fairly well. The AF's image is softer but def matches well. I have to add the settings I use are mostly based on shooting with natural light though.

Hope this helps.

frandrake- I shot this BTS of a music video shoot on the AF100 using DVXuser editman's 5D settings (they're in the sticky The AF100 Scene File Recipe List).
The music video scenes are on the 5DII.

The set lighting is kino tubes mixed for about 42-4300K with a 3200 WB for a cool look- the cameras match better than I expected.
