Mixing 30p and 60i

Wondering if it is a good or bad idea to mix 60i footage with 30p footage on a 59.94 timeline.

The majority of the project was shot in 30p but I am going to do some slow motion (timewarp) and was thinking that to reduce choppyness the more frames the better might be good.

What issues will I encounter if I mix the formats?

What version of Media Composer? And 59.94...at 1080...is 29.97fps. Both 30p and 60i are 29.97fps. Making the sequence have more FPS won't make the video any smoother. Choose one FORMAT as the main format, add the other footage to that.
