mixing 30P/60i on DV Tape

Got an upcoming DV tape shoot w/HVX200. client has already shot 60i DV but I want to shoot 30p DV instead of 60i to avoid the jaggies . It's progressive vs. interlace.
Will it cut, is it doable? Just talking head shots, no motion - is 60i ok for that? I know HVX is not great for interlaced DV.

With little motion, it should cut pretty well. You could also deinterlace the 60i the client already has.

I'd be more concerned about matching colors if the material came from different cameras or different scene file settings.

Thanks, I thought it might work. No matching required, single camera interviews at different locations, different cameras, different camerapeople etc.
