Mix DVX100B and HVX material

I shot a documentary with the DVX100b. It's all letterbox DV /25p. Now I have to end the film and I'm going to shoot with the HVX.
What is the best way, what HVX settings and codec to mix the shots together?
What to do in FCP?

Workflow: FCP 5.1.2. >post Colorcorrection Final Touch.

If you want it to match, shoot SD letterbox mode. But the HVX and DVX don't match their look out of the box; you'll have to tweak the settings to get the footage comparable. Most noticeable is the master pedestal, its effect is stronger on the HVX; I found an MP of -8 on the DVX looked about the same as an MP of -4 on the HVX.
