Mix DVCPro with other Formats

HV30 HDV PF30
HFS11 AVCHD PF30

does the F and PF make any difference in terms of how it cuts in the NLE?

would we end up with with better matching footage if we choose 1080i 30p thereby giving us a closer frame size to the avchd and hdv?

Yeah, shoot 1080-30P off the HVX (not 1080i) .

the only setting is 1080i 30P so how could i do what you are saying? (HVX200)

So even at 1080 on an HVX your still competing against almost full raster of HDV.

and avchd...right?
