Hey everyone

can someone link to me sites that sell the AV connector from EX1 to TV and a USB connector from my EX1 that can go into my computer? I need these parts and the sony service site ain't working for me for some reasons

Can anyone tell me where to get these or at least if theres a specific name for the connectors? Thanks!

Just get the exact name they refer to these items as out of the manual, then type it into Google. Someone should be selling them. That's the legwork that anyone here trying to help you would do.

Hey,

Yeah, I already looked them up but theres no specificity. For the USB cable used to connect my EX1 to my computer for ingesting footage and all, the manual just calls it "USB cable." I was wondering if any of you that had the cable knew whether it was just a general mini USB male (on the EX1 end) to USB 2.0 male (for the computer end) cabe? Or is it something more specific?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The USB cable is the same as any stock standard USB cable, I bet you already have one from somthing else USB you have sitting around, otherwise they are a few dollars at computer shops.

The AV cable is the same one Sony use for their consumer cameras, so just look for them on eBay. They ship out of Honk Kong for next to nothing and the ones I got even had a SVideo connector on it that the one from Sony that came with the camera lacks.
