Minolta "Beercan" lens adaptor.

Hello folks,

I have been buying a few minolta lenses. Mainly MD lenses. I just bought the 70-210 Beercan lens. I noticed that the lens will not mount on the fotodiox adaptor. What adaptor do I need for the lens to fit onto my FS-100?

Also, is anyone using Minolta legacy lenses on their FS-100's? If so, do you have footage that I can see?

Thanks!

I don't actually have the fs-100, I use the vg900 camera which is also e-mount like your fs-100. I used to use that Minolta 70-210 beercan lens on that camera along with some other 80s Minolta lenses with the Sony LA-EA3 adapter, it would connect fine with that albeit in full manual mode.

I'm using a couple Minolta AF lenses I bought back in the mid 90's. The 75-300 and the 35-70. I use them on the Fotodiox adapter and micro extension tubes. I also use a 2x teleconverter with them. Its a pretty cheap way to expand buying them and I'm happy with most results. Sorry I don't have anything specific on the MD's but the AF's are working just fine for me.

Thanks Rob,

Share? Its from the Outback Album from Music2hues.com http://www.music2hues.com/m2h_orig/flag/_outback.htm They have quite a few good tunes and not priced to bad either. I've collected a few of their works. I don't remember exactly which track it was off hand, I'd have to listen to them again.
