miniDV Playback Issues

I was playing back a lot of miniDV tapes on my DVX100b last night, when all of a sudden the playback started to have issues. The video would stutter and the audio would pop in and out. This happened on every miniDV I tested. Typically, when this kind of thing crops up I use my miniDV head cleaner and it solves the problem. Unfortunately, it hasn't.

Please, any help would be extremely appreciated. Any suggestions?

try playing one tape for like 20mins without forwarding.....

How many hours are on your camera's heads now?

You should always use an inexpensive MiniDV cam to view tapes, to save wear and tear on the heads of your expensive cam.

I had a similar problem a while ago...the tapes i played had some sort of lines and looked something like a scratched cd...i played a tape for a while and slowly the picture came back to normal.....
