I just bought a used DVX100b with 150 hours on the heads. The original owner whom I bought it from used Maxell MiniDV tapes. Is it too late to change to a different brand of tape? Im not sure whether those were wet or dry tapes, but if I can still change brands, which tape should I buy? Im new to this whole thing so your input is appreciated! Thanks!

Just clean the heads -- which you should do after buying used anyway -- and you've got nothing to worry about.
