Check out this shiz-nit... I was going to post this in the worst CGI ever thread... but this is too good to put there... even as contrast... and honestly I'm not totally sure it's CGI... it's that good.

Watch this... trust me you will NOT be disappointed.

If you click "more from this user" and check out the :23 robot clip you won't be disappointed either... you may spend a while watching the stuff this guy put up.

The cobra and ice-cream cone ZUNE ad made me want to cry and go home... I'm so confused. :-) That one makes my list for one of the weirdest vids ever.

:laugh::laugh:

That was really cool by the way. If I tried to make that, I would have no idea where to start.

Start with a balls out computer. That much processing for the dynamics only is enough to make my head spin. I shudder to think of the render times.

My guess would be that fly's head & wings were CG. All wider shots CG. The solid pie was definitely CG. As for all the CU liquidy goo - more practical to do with real stuff.

Beatle and spider look real but can't tell how much of the bee or fly.

It blew my mind. I can't tell if it was done for real or what part of it is fake. If that's where CG is nowadays, I'm very happy to see it.

Guys, this was posted waaay back, sorry for all CG fans, but its all real! I think I remember seeing the "making off" , they had to have lots of takes to actually hit the bugs :)

Are you serious? I mean, if I thought it was CGI, it would be cool, but if it's real, it is downright AMAZING...now I am impressed.

Is there a thread or a site or something that gives the details of this?

Wow... how is that real?

Unbelievable. I bet the guy who thought up that idea and pitched it in their advertising meeting was laughed at initially.

If this was posted way back I'd like to see where... I did a search for 30 minutes to be sure it wasn't a repost and I couldn't find it... plus I think those phones at the end are fairly new models.

I'm damn sure I've seen this before, it was posted by a DVXuser before I just can't remember what he posted it under though,
