Miller Arrow 55 Head and Miller Heavy Duty CF Legs for Sale

This is a great pro set up. Here are the basic specs:

Arrow 55
Load 13.5lbs to 55lbs
Tilt/Pan: 7 levels
Ball: 100mm

Miller Heavy Duty CF Legs:
Payload: 200/lbs
Weight: 9.8 lbs

The best point about this tripod is it has a true fluid module resistance as opposed to the glorified friction heads out there. The result, is no backlash and a smooth progressive movement only surpassed by O'Connor (at 2x the price). I personally feel it blows Sachtler away in terms of smooth movement. I've been able to execute unbelievable moves that would make one think they were done on a heavier rug.

When I bought this, I skipped the Miller Runner legs they package with the head because I feel lighter legs twist too much. The Heavy Duties, only a pound and half heavier, have no twist at all. They're rock solid and quick to raise and lower. They're perfect for indies, promos, videos, doc and run and gun.

As much as I love this set up, I'm selling because virtually all the work I do are fully crewed features or spots where I'm using rigs that exceed my tripod's payload, so I'm upgrading to an O'Connor. That said, I've shot many a feature and spot on these legs without a hitch.

Here's the price breakdown:

(1) Miller 55 Head. Excellent condition. Two years left on warranty. 4200.00 new. Will sell for 2700.00.
(1) Miller Heavy Duty CF Legs. Excellent condition. Only 9.8lbs. 200lb capacity. 2000 new. Will sell for 1300.
(1) Miller Mid Level Spreader. 500.00 new. Will sell for 325.00
(1) Miller Ground Speader. 400.00 new. Will sell for 250.00

Head/Legs sold together with either ground spreader, mid level spreader or both. Miller padded soft case will be thrown in.

Thanks for the comment. I've been using it on my RED for the last two years and works perfectly when it's kitted with primes (even S4's and RPP's). It's half the weight of an O'Connor. You will not find a smoother head for the money and even heads costing much more (Sachtler and Vinten) can't match its fluidity. But I must part as I already own an Arrow 25 / VJ Solo set up for those hiking trips and the new O'Connor will cover the high end work. Would keep it if I could afford to. Weep.....
