Looks great Jack. Very polished.

Obviously money was an issue with project, so they did what they could with the tools they had at hand! (and a damb fine job as you really do get sucked into the world they create)
What is the alternative? sit at home on you ass and watch other people doing the work you want to do?
I think all work is a contribution, especially such fine work visually!

No one is saying film is dead yet, but look like we're doing a little killing with our VIDEO.

I'm going to agree here. I want to ask--Jarrod King said:I thought this scene was particularly impressive. This doesn't even look like the same movie as the village and "catacombs"(?) scenes.

What happened between here and the other shots? Is it me? .. or... dare I say it--
Does this shot look a lot more crisp. Like the HVX's detail was spiked. Or the darned thing's resolution suddenly spiked?
It looks extremely clean. Maybe it's the forced depth perspective? There's a lot of material in the farground that might contribue to the very cinematic feel of this shot and a few others.
