well b&h has it for $419 and they get $99 for the rycote windscreen.

i guess $350 and i'll throw in ground shipping ups anywhere in the u.s.

I've got an akg ck69uls with a c480b preamp, brand new, the set retails at b&h for about 1800 bucks. make me an offer and we'll talk some more.
 
If something cost $1800, What do you offer?

a) a used car?
b) a night with a couple of girls ( my friends a pimp)
c) just tell them your at the wrong store?
d) 1/4 of the value
e) get a loan?

Mage 01... first, do you own a DVX? If not then what are you going to be running this mic into?

For a first mic there are many affordable options that will give you a lot of satisfaction.

I've got an AKG uls system and you don't need one of those yet. In my opinion the 480b/ck69 is about on par with a 416... I had both and I decided to sell one... after MUCH deliberation... it was the 416, but ocassionally I wish I'd kept it instead... situations change and the perfect mic one day is a runner-up the next.

So what do you have to plug that mic into... I'm hoping you say DVX.
