Microphone's are not working after replacing back panel

My 4 pin firewire connection had a broken pin on my HVX200, so I ordered the back panel, followed the incredibly helpful visual thread by DJDecay and service repair manual (steps 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 11) to make the necessary repair. Now the camera is back together, the firewire is working and all the buttons on the back panel are operational, but I can't get any audio input (output from previous recording is fine). The internal mic isn't picking up anything. My XLR mic doesn't create a blip of any sort on the camera regardless of the channel. Nada!

I have checked all my connections three times and all my settings seem right. I looked through the service manual to see if I needed to upload a firmware update, but it doesn't look like I need to for this type of repair. I was exceptionally careful during the repair and even had antistatic bubble wrap on the repair table. I can't imagine I have blown a component.

I know these 4-pin 1394 firewire ports get fried and break pins because I have seen other posts complain about it, but no one seems to have replaced the back panel and posted about the results.

I called panasonic technical support, but with the bad weather back east, they are closed...Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Alright, took it apart again. Checked all the connections...again. Put it back together, again. Now it works. Go figure.
