Is it me or when in 24P theres a 1/10th of a second delay between the actuall sound and the sound you hear in the headphones?????? also, can you raise the stock microphone sensitivity? it doesnt seem to be "loud" enough. if you know what i mean.

Re: Microphone

there is a delay in the headphones, this has been discussed at length here. As for raising the stock mic's sensitivity, I don't think you can...

Re: Microphone

Btw i just read in your book barry about the delay.... i hadnt read it at the time i made the microphone discovery. Lol sorry.

Re: Microphone

actually you can increase the stock mic's sensitivity. turn the small dials on the bottom left corner of the DVX up, the Ch1 and ch2 dials. it increases the sensitivy not only to the Headphones, but to the tape as well, also you can regulate how strong each mic is, left or right. its kinda cool. the mic is ok. i think Panasonic put the money in to the imaging system and the circutry inside and kinda figured anyone who would pay 3500 for a camera would buy a nice mic anyway. but, still its not totally un useable. it would be ok for conversational stuff in close quarters. but in all honesty the mic on my TRV70 blows this one away. ( aint that some ****, the 1,000 cam beat the DVX at Something!)
